CUTEST FAMILY IN TOWN CONTEST!

This will fill you in on ALL the details you need to know about how to enter, how to vote, and what you can WIN!  Submit your photo to Seven Hills Photography via EMAIL.  Voting will close on March 18th at 8pm EST, and the winner will be announced on March 19th. Once your picture is posted, the voting starts! So make sure to submit your picture and tell all of your friends to vote for you!

:: HOW TO ENTER ::

• Email your photo to Tom@SevenHillsPhotography.com with the subject line “Cutest Family Contest”
• Include your family name in the email as well as your contact information
• All entries will be loaded to the 2012 CUTEST Family CONTEST album on the Seven Hills Photography Fb page as one time to start the competition at a single point for all entries.
• Photos will only be accepted until Sunday March 4th at 6pm
• One entry per family (a family can be a couple for defintion)
• NO professional photos, please.
• The contest is open to everyone, however if you live outside a 60 mile radius of Lynchburg, VA or Leesburg, VA.  You must chose a location within 60 miles of Lynchburg or Leesburg for your prize shoot

:: HOW TO VOTE ::
• To vote for a photo, you must be a fan/“Like” Seven Hills Photography on Facebook
• Click “like” on the photo you are voting for (you can only “like” once)
• Comments are permitted and welcomed, but will not count toward the total number of votes
• The TWO photos with the most “likes” at 8pm on March  18th will be declared the winners
• The Cutest Family Contest winners will be notified and announced on March 19th by 8pm.

Share the link to the Seven Hills Photography Facebook page on your personal Facebook page, and ask your friends and family to go vote for your child’s image. You can post a link from the Seven Hills Photography page on your profile or by private message by using the “share” link on the bottom left of the fan page. Let them know they will need to “like” the Seven Hills Photography Facebook page for their vote to count.

:: WHAT YOU WIN ::
1. Grand Prize:
• The family in the winning photo with the most “likes” will receive a free portrait session with Seven Hills Photography and an 11 x 14 fine art print ($125 value)
• Photo session must be booked within 30 days of winning, and redeemed by the end of October 2012
2. Runner Up:
• The family in the winning photo with the 2nd most “likes” will receive a gift certificate to be used with Seven Hills Photography for a mini-session
• Gift Certificate must be redeemed by the end of October 2012

October = weddings (apparently)

Most photographers will probably agree that a wedding is a tiring day.  Always on your feet, looking for a shot every minute, never wanting to miss a thing.  All this and it's an absolutely incredible time to be a part of!  This month I've been a part of three - three Saturdays in a row.  

 

 

 

Welcome to the new website!

Welcome to the all-new Seven Hills Photography site and blog!  Thanks for stopping by and looking at my work.  I hope you’re enjoying the new site and will come back often.  I hope to post something about most of my shoots as they come and go here on the blog portion.

A few things about Tom right now:
I have a renewed interested in reading (those of you who know me well should be shocked at this) – biographies in particular.
I enjoy photography more and more every day.
Dogs are better than cats, but hamburgers are better than hotdogs.

A few things about Seven Hills right now:
The wedding side of things is just exploding!  I shot 1 in 2010, I will have done 10 in 2011 and already have 5 booked for 2012 = it’s just craziness but I love being a part of someone’s big day!
I don’t get out to do landscapes like I did in years past but I’ll fit it in soon.
I want to shoot everything!  Concerts, weddings, engagements, turtle races, you name it.
